City University of Hong Kong
Photos from top to bottom: Local Neighborhood; View of area from Festival Walk ice rink; City University. Just above--our apartment building. Notice the covered walkways for rain.
CityU is on the side of a hill and is mostly one academic building that is color coded. The academic building is all connected on the fourth floor as one long causeway, but you see a series of colors along this causeway that tell you which section you are in blue, purple, yellow, etc.. So if you want to go to office Y6004, you go to the elevators in the yellow area on the 4th floor causeway and go up to the 6th floor. When someone gives you directions they usually also tell you which "lift" you should take. They are well numbered! When you reach the 6th floor you have to look for the color yellow to make sure you go the right way or you might end up at B6004.
On the upside of the hill the university has put in vegetation and a walking path. If you look up you see the huge mall that is at the top of the hill--Festival Walk.
